A+X multi-hole orifice (also called conditioning orifice) is an upgrade on the standard orifice. Multi-hole orifice has lower straight run requirement of just 2D before and 2D after, enabling wider possibilities of its application.

It is based on the same Bernoulli equation as a standard orifice, and thus follows the same mathematical relationship as a standard orifice.

●  Straight Pipe: 2D Upstream + 2D Downstream (better than orifice)

●  Turndown Ratio: 3:1 to 5:1 (better than orifice)

●  Accuracy: 0.5%-1% (better than orifice)

●  Permanent Pressure Loss: 30-50%DP
